About Dr. Pande

Dr. Saurabh A. Pande, MD, FNKF, FASN, graduated in the year 2004 from King Edward Medical School, located in Mumbai, India, which is recognized as the fourth top-tier medical institution in the country. At this esteemed institution, he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees. His medical journey continued with an Internal Medicine internship and Residency at the renowned Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, spanning from 2006 to 2009. It is noteworthy that during his residency, Dr. Pande received numerous teaching accolades and was even offered the esteemed Chief Residency position.

Following his residency, Dr. Pande pursued a fellowship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, specializing in Nephrology. With over 19 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Pande is actively involved in providing medical care at various El Paso hospitals, including Del Sol Medical Center, Las Palmas Medical Center, The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus, The Hospitals of Providence East Campus, The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, Kindred Hospital, Highlands Rehabilitation Hospital, Mesa Hills Specialty Hospital, and El Paso LTAC Hospital, among others. He also operates two Nephrology offices, catering to the healthcare needs of the East and Northeast regions of El Paso.

Presently, Dr. Pande holds board certifications from the esteemed American Board of Internal Medicine, both in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His dedication and expertise have earned him accolades from the American Medical Association, including multiple Physician Recognition Awards for the years 2009-2012, 2010-2011 (with commendation), and 2012-2015. Notably, he received a Nephrology Research award in 2011 from the Department of Nephrology at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has worn many distinguished hats including being the Chief of Medicine at Del Sol Medical center and is currently the Vice Chief Of Medicine at the same facility. 

In 2016, Dr. Pande was honored with the very prestigious Doctor of the Year award at Del Sol Medical Center and a similar recognition at the Providence Hospital East Campus. He also received a state representative letter of recognition for Doctor of the Year in the same year. His impressive list of awards extends to Best Pharmacy Practices in 2015 from Kindred Hospital and national recognition at the DaVita conference in 2013 and 2014. Dr. Pande is also an esteemed fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and a fellow of the National Kidney Foundation.
